DeTurk Roundbarn Opens At Last

The DeTurk Round Barn has finally opened its doors to the public after an 11 month renovation. This barn was built, in 1891, by Isaac DeTurk to house his horses. It one of the few round barns left in Calfornia…. The only truly round barn in Santa Rosa. Special attention was given to preserving the historical integrity of the barn while updating it to fit the modern needs of a community building. Reclaimed and recycled wood was used throughout. This gem of a building is now available to be used by the public for events, parties and weddings. The grand opening was held March 17, 2011.
